Open Books

Hello everyone :), hope you are well.

What the weather look like in your city? Today it is snowing a lot in Chicago. I believe today was the day that snowed the most, and it is looking pretty :).

On Saturday, I took my son to a book store that was celebrating Dr. Seuss birthday. It was fantastic!!!! What a great idea they had!!! The name of the store is called "Open Books". They are a non-profit bookstore that sells used books. However, in perfect condition. The following is the link to access their store: http://www.open-books.org

We had a lot of fun on Saturday. They prepared a great party to celebrate Dr. Seuss birthday. There were face-painting, cake, story telling, a cat in the hat performance, crafts, and many more. The place was full of children eager to read and listen to the stories, as well as doing crafts.

Whilst there, I purchased three books by Dr. Seuss: Green Eggs and Ham, ABC and I can name 50 Trees Today. I payed only $8.80 for the three of them - a bargain!!!!

I also purchased two Winnie-The-Pooh books, which we love, and I payed only $3.20.

I highly recommend you to visit the store. They have a huge collection of books, the staff are so helpful and friendly, and the price of the books are quite cheap. Let me know what you think if you go to the bookstore. Have a great evening. Thanks :))).
